Lamp & Vine

At Lamp & Vine, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal information. If you no longer wish to use the App, you may permanently delete your account and the personal data associated with it.

Delete Your Account in the App (Recommended)

You can permanently delete your account directly within the App at any time.

Steps
Open Lamp & Vine.
Sign in to your account.
Tap Profile.
Open Settings.
Select Delete Account.
Review the confirmation message.
Tap Delete My Account to permanently remove your account.

Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

If you are unable to access the App, you may request account deletion by contacting us.

For your security, please send your request from the same email address associated with your Lamp & Vine account. We may request additional information to verify your identity before processing your request.

What Information Will Be Deleted?

When your account is deleted, we will permanently delete or anonymize, where appropriate:

Your account profile
Your name and email address associated with the account
Saved Bible studies
Saved Bible-passage explanations
Prayer-journal entries
Reflection notes
Reading progress
Favorites and bookmarks
Notification preferences
Device notification tokens
Saved AI conversation history and AI-generated Bible-study content associated with your account, where applicable

What Information May Be Retained?

Certain information may be retained when required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:

Security and fraud-prevention records
Limited server logs
Records required for legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory compliance

If you purchased a subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, purchase and billing records are maintained by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective privacy policies and legal obligations. Lamp & Vine does not control the retention of those records.

Subscription Notice

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription.

If you purchased a premium subscription, you must cancel it separately through the app store where you originally subscribed.

Open Settings.
Tap your Apple ID.
Select Subscriptions.
Tap Lamp & Vine.
Select Cancel Subscription.

Google Play
Open Google Play.
Tap Payments & subscriptions.
Select Subscriptions.
Tap Lamp & Vine.
Select Cancel Subscription.

Processing Time

We aim to process verified account-deletion requests within 7 business days. In some cases, additional time may be required to verify account ownership or comply with applicable legal obligations.
